   The  concept  behind  Troll  Trapper  is  quite  simple,  make  email
   addresses  on  Web pages visible to humans and invisible to Spambots.
   These   bots   look  for  email  "fingerprints"  in  the  HTML  code,
   specifically  an  ""  and  other  such tags. Once
   found,  it is extremely easy to extract the email address. Basically,
   Troll  Trapper converts vanilla html "A HREF" constructs into garbled
   Javascript.  It complete obliterates the email address and associated
   text  name,  making it next to impossible for extractors to steal the
   address!  And the beauty of Troll Trapper is that the end result is a
   Web  page  that looks to the human exactly as it did before the Troll
   Trapper  conversion. After the Troll Trapper conversion, the only way
   a  Spambot  could  steal  your  email  address  is  if  they  write a
   full-blown  Javascript  compiler  as  part  of  the  software.  While
   Spamware authors have enough smarts to write a simple HTML extractor,
   they  are  not nearly bright enough to code a comprehensive compiler.
   We  have tested the end results with several extractors and none have
   found the hidden email addresses.
