▒ AMIS is a 32 bit program designed to run under Windows 95/98. The ▒
▒ program follows most standard Windows conventions. Pressing the ESCAPE ▒
▒ key will close (exit) all program screens except the main menu, the ▒
▒ Windows Calculator, the online Calendar, the Windows Notepad and the ▒
▒ Backup/Restore option (when available). Pressing the F1 key will ▒
▒ access context sensitive Help at almost any point of the program. ▒
▒ ALL AMIS files will be in the directory/folder that you select for the ▒
▒ product installation. No files are placed in any other directory, nor ▒
▒ are there any hidden files -EXCEPT: The first time you run the program, ▒
▒ a file named amis.ini is created in the Windows folder. This file is ▒
▒ updated each time you run AMIS and remembers the program settings ▒
▒ (display window sizes, positions, etc.). ▒
▒ With this program, you can maintain a file on all the vehicles in your ▒
▒ fleet. The information entered into each vehicle maintenance/service ▒
▒ record is: whether the service is a business expense or not, the ▒
▒ service date, the vehicle number, the odometer reading, the service ▒
▒ category, the gallons of fuel (if the fuel category is used), the ▒
▒ service provider, whether the service is covered by warranty or not, ▒
▒ the cost and any pertinent notes. You can then view a complete list of ▒
▒ the maintenance records or just those for a selected service category, ▒
▒ selected service provider or vehicle. You can also print 11 different ▒
▒ reports for the selected categories, providers or vehicles which will ▒
▒ list 1)all maintenance records, 2) only the business expense records or ▒
▒ 3) the fuel use for a selected vehicle within a date range that you ▒
▒ specify. These reports also show a total cost for the listed service ▒
▒ records. In the registered version, you can create custom reports with ▒
▒ the Wizard Reports feature. With the builtin maintenance scheduler and ▒
▒ calendar program, you can also maintain a list of the schedule ▒
▒ maintenance tasks to be performed. ▒
