Like DOOM, Rise of the Triad is a high
quality, fast scrolling first-person
perspective 3D action game. Graphics
are on par with DOOM. It has destructive
enemies and lots of them, an arsenal of
weapons from simple pistols to missile
launchers, life-preserving armor, traps
and ambushes galore, and the ability to
play by modem or network. In all, there's
a great degree of similarity between the
two games. In addition, Rise of the Triad
puts most of the other DOOM wannabes to
shame - it's that good!"
THE STORY
You are part of an elite group of
operatives called HUNT (High-risk United
Nations Taskforce), and you must stop
a maniac cult leader from killing millions
of people. While scouting a remote island,
you are suddenly surrounded by enemy
troops with guns blaring. In the distance
you see your boat--your only chance to
escape-explode into matchsticks.
In front of you is a huge fortress
monastery, and your only chance to stop
the madness. You are e quipped with
awesome, high-tech weaponry like heat-
seeking missiles, split missiles, and the
Flamewall cannon, which leaves a trail of
charred skeletons in its wake. You'll also
find magical instruments and weapons so
incredible they defy description.

We noticed former DELiGHT releases of 3DREALMS
stuff got nuked with reason old. Well hear why
we will go on releasing the old classics
rebuild by 3DREALMS / APOGEE SOFT. Several
people like to play the old games, and are
simply not able to play the old originals on
their WindowsXP etc. some may work with
additional tools or whatever, some not, guess
most of em. So this is why 3DREALMS rebuild
all the old games that are working perfect
now. These games are new releases done by
3DREALMS recently, so our releases aren't old,
its up-to-date software from 3D REALMS. So its
no dupe, coz its new releases and its not old
coz its not just original unmodified game, but
a new rebuild from 3DREALMS / APOGEE SOFT.
