WWPlus32 is a program that provides various tools to manage Windows
Wallpaper. Wallpaper files are maintained in convenient ôQueuesö that
allow easy manual or automatic changing.Users gain substantial disk
space by using compressed image formats as Windows wallpaper. Images
may be resized on-the-fly to full screen or user-set limits.WWPlus32
will automatically reduce the colors in a 256-color image to 16 for
VGA display, and True-Color (16 million colors) images to 256 (or 16)
colors.
There is a Thumbnail function, which will display a small copy of all
the images in a queue for easy selection.Optional sounds in WAV,
MIDI, or other formats may be played at each wallpaper
change.Multiple "queues" (configuration files) may be maintained,
each saved under a distinctive name.Users of Internet Explorer 4.0 or
later may use web pages (HTM or HTML extensions) as wallpaper
interchangeably with image files. In order for this option to work,
the Active Desktop must be set to View As Web Page in IE.
