#1 Copy Advert.ocm
#2 Shutdown AIM
#3 Paste Advert.ocm in Aim95 directory
#4 Click ok on confirm screen
#5 Run Aim :)
Tutorial :
Well i was chating with my freinds on aim and got pissed at banner for some reason ,
i closed aim and went to check out AIM95 directory , first thing i was looking for is
file's that used to display ads , well after couple of secounds i noticed file named
Advert.ocm <---Thats the file that puts ugly banners on your aim .
I opened it in hex-workshop and searched for "ad" , found about 20 words in there ,
it becomes clear it uses Advert.ocm to load and display banners now .
Now i tryed to remove all strings witch contain "AD" or "HTML" after i was done i saved
the backup file as Advert.bak and overwrited Advert.ocm with my new edited file.
OK now its time to test it , i runned Aim and in started giving me many pop up errors
after clicking on about 10 windows with ERROR on them i got into main Aim window and
finded out there was NO ads .
Now its time to take care of errors , i took a look at other .ocm files in directory
and wrote down some usefull lines of each one , then i edited Advert.ocm once again but
this time i erased all hex and pasted all lines i wrote down on each of .ocm files .
Ok lets try again , i runned aim and its started without errors and banners ! .
P.s later i founded out i could just replace Advert.ocm with Admin.ocm file .
