Put the patch file into the "Program Files\Winamp\Plugins" folder and apply there to remove the trial expiration. If the patch gives a "File not found" error then make windows show all hidden files and remove the read-only file attribution of the target dll. Also make sure Winamp is not active at the time you apply the patch.
