VAPS is a software tool suite that has
become the de-facto standard for rapid
prototyping, designing, testing, and
deploying HMIs. VAPS enables the
development of dynamic, interactive,
real- time graphical HMIs for complex
applications such as the displays and
controls found in the cockpit of an
aircraft or the instrumentation of an
automobile. VAPS is used by teams of
engineers and users to jointly design and
test the look, feel, functionality, and
behavior of a particular device
or group of devices.
