NEC4WIN95 is an antenna simulation software based on MININEC3. It runs on Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows 2000 (WinNT). It can be used to simulate, model, analyze and optimize wire antennas, beams, verticals, etc. The only limitations that apply are the Mininec limitations: Horizontal wires too close to the ground and close parallel lines, number of wires and segments limited to 250.

NEC4WIN95 features

NEC4WIN95 is a true Windows 95 program, not a shell running DOS programs in the background. It is mouse driven, and according to many users one of the most user friendly antenna simulation found on the market. It supports monitors and printers supported by Win95, and allows cut and paste of all graphics from NEC4WIN95 to other Win95 applications supporting graphics (Paint programs, Word, etc.)
Wires are defined via ASCII files or using a spreadsheet Geometry form, by defining the X, Y and Z coordinates of wire extremities.

Sources and Loads are inserted on wires using drag and drop operations. No need for calculating pulses position anymore. Ground characteristics are selected using the mouse to model real ground or ideal perfect ground. Radials can be added to the basic ground selection (ground will influence only Far Field patterns and gains)
You can plot the radiation patterns for a certain height, click with the mouse on a control to change the height and get the new radiation pattern in seconds. Far Field patterns windows display all the information needed without having to run secondary commands difficult to remember.

On the left side of the Far Field window are printed all antenna data: Impedance, SWR, Height, Ground parameters, Radial length and number, Gain, Front to Back (in Azimuth mode), major lobes angle and width, etc..
The 3D view will show you not only the antenna, sources and loads, but also currents and the radiation pattern in 3D wire frame. You can click on buttons to see pulses and pulse numbers if needed. You can also freely move, rotate or zoom/unzoom antenna, currents and patterns using only the mouse, all of this in real time.

All graphics and pictures can be printed or copied using Cut and Paste Windows commands and pasted into Word Processors, Graphic programs, etc.
