█ Van Dyke Technologies has released version 1.0.2 to eliminate a █
█ security issue in VShell 1.0.1 and earlier releases. The issue made █
█ VShell 1.0.1 and earlier vulnerable to an attack which could allow █
█ malicious parties to execute arbitrary code as the VShell service in █
█ the Windows NT or 2000 LocalSystem context. █

█ The vulnerability allows the attacker to execute code on the host █
█ where VShell resides. The attacker is restricted to the host machine █
█ and cannot gain access to other network resources. █

█ Van Dyke recommends that all users of versions 1.0 and 1.0.1 █
█ immediately upgrade to version 1.0.2 or later, available without █
█ charge to registered users on the Van Dyke Technologies web site. █
