Download Design Link v5.0 keyfile by LND

Moldflow Plastic Insight & MDL 5.0


1. Run setup and install the program as a server and client. Reboot
   at the end of the installations.
   
2. Run setup for the MPI 5.0.1 and install the update.

3. Run setup and install MDL 5.0 (if you have it). Cancel the Solidworks junk if
   you don't want it.

4. In the control panel, stop the service "Moldflow Product Security".

5. Open "X:\Program Files\Moldflow\Product Security\" and change the properties 
   of "mfpsd.exe" by deselecting the read only box.

6. Copy the "keyfile" and mfpsd.exe to "X:\Program Files\Moldflow\Product Security\"
   and over write the old file.

7. In the control panel, restart the service "Moldflow Product Security".

8. Run the program

 Moldflow Design LinkÖ (MDLÖ) provides faster and easier access to CAD data
 by allowing users to import leading solid geometry formats directly into
 Moldflow Plastics Advisers« (MPA«), Moldflow Plastics Insight« (MPI«), and
 Moldflow Magics STL ExpertÖ software.

 This gives users the flexibility to accept CAD data from almost any source,
 and it also provides the added benefit of using native CAD data from all
 Parasolid-based CAD systems, Pro/ENGINEER«, CATIA V5« and SolidWorks«.

 MDL is commercially available in three versions:

 MDL/Parasolid ù for the import of Parasolid, SolidWorks, IGES, and STEP
 models

 MDL/Pro/ENGINEER ù for the import of Pro/ENGINEER part, IGES, and STEP
 models

 MDL/CATIA V5 ù for the import of CATIA V5 part models
