│  Softinabox Icon Explorer is a small utility, yet very useful, that will    │
│  allow you to scan and display the icon resources available in any          │
│  folder, disk file or application found in your computer. The icons         │
│  extracted can then be save as icon files (*.ico), bitmaps (*.bmp), GIF     │
│  (*.gif) or JPEG images (*.jpg) and edited with any third-party icon        │
│  editing application. Furthermore, Icon Explorer fully integrates with      │
│  the Windows Clipboard to let you move the icon resources to any other      │
│  application.                                                               │

│  -Extract and save icons: with Icon Explorer you can scan any folder or     │
│  file in your system, extract any icon resources available and save them    │
│  as individual icons (*.ico), bitmaps (*.bmp), GIF (*.gif), or JPEG         │

│  -Windows Clipboard integration: extracted icons can also be copied to      │
│  the Windows Clipboard as 32x32 or 16x16 pixels images. From where they     │
│  can then be pasted to any other application or document.                   │

│  -Drag & Drop interface: drag any folder or file directly to the Icon       │
│  Explorer main window to quickly view the icon resources available in       │
│  that folder or file.                                                       │
│  File formats: Icon Explorer is capable of extraction icon resources from   │
│  any file, regardless of its format. Saving is limited to icon (*.ico),     │
│  bitmap (*.bmp), GIF (*.gif), and JPEG (*.jpg) files.                       │

│  -File filters: to increase folder extraction performance, you can define   │
│  filters for the files that Icon Explorer actually scans.                   │

│  -Integration with third party applications: Icon Explorer can also be      │
│  configured to integrate with any third party icon editing application.     │
│  Editing a specific extracted icon resource in Icon Explorer will launch    │
│  the external application and pass it the image for editing.                │
