Just read the text in the window of SP_UB4A and you know how it
works. It was really a fun to show UNBOX again that they better
should give up... I confess it took me several hours to analyze
the principle but I also tell you openly: any computer kid with
basic computer knowledge and a bit mathematical know-how could
crack that poor "locker". The real joke is that there is no
relation between the Control Number shown in the dialogue and
the Password required to unlock. They may change the Control
Number as often as they like but the program can be unlocked
without the knowledge of a Control Number. Why do they never
understand how double key protection really works ? Well, it
is not a crime to be stupid but sometimes I wish it was...
For previous UNBOX versions 2.x and 3.x see my program UBX-WIN
available on the net everywhere.
SP_UB4A is written in Visual Basic 5.0 but only standard controls
are used. So you dont need any VBX file but only the standard
Runtime-DLL MSVBVM50.DLL which everyone should have to run VB5
progs. Reason for using VB5 instead of VB3 used with UBX-WIN was
that long filenames are not supported by VB3. Hope you enjoy...
