This is: troubleshooting text file for CheckSum_Bad's Discworld Noir NoCD crack!

PROBLEMS: Did you follow the instructions to install the game FULL ???
This crack will NOT work with other types of install than FULL.
You need the original/copy CDs for this.

PROBLEM: The patcher fails at opening tin3_dxd.exe and says it's write-protected.
SOLUTION: You must have write access to tin3_dxd.exe, e.g. you cannot patch it if it's
on a CD, a read-only network drive or the file has the read-only attribute.
The game must be installed on a drive with write access! And make sure
tin3_dxd.exe is NOT Read-only: right-click on it and deselect Read-only!

PROBLEM: The patcher fails at applying the patches.
SOLUTION: Either you have the original SafeDisc protected EXE or your EXE is already
cracked to NoCD. If you have a tin3_dxd.exe that is LESS than 500KB it must be
the SafeDisc one. If so please ZIP/RAR/ACE/...etc. it and send it to me
(CheckSum_Bad) at [email protected]. Then get ANOTHER tin3_dxd.exe from
	http://keygen.us or http://www.megagames.com
	(I recommend DBC/TCA's tin3_dxd.exe from http://keygen.us )
AND apply my NoCD crack to it. OR get a SafeDisc generic remover such as
unSafedisc v1.5.5 ( http://csir.cjb.net ) and remove the SafeDisc from
tin3_dxd.icd and then patch it with my crack. ;) pretty simple, eh?

PROBLEM: My game gives an error message saying something like
"The TIN3_DXD.EXE file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:."
SOLUTION: Get ANOTHER tin3_dxd.exe from http://keygen.us or http://www.megagames.com
	I recommend DBC/TCA's tin3_dxd.exe from http://keygen.us

PROBLEM: On Windows XP tin3_dxd.exe says something like "invalid Win32 application"
SOLUTION: I haven't tested this but try and get DBC/TCA's tin3_dxd.exe
from http://keygen.us and use it instead. Also on WinXP try the "compatibility".
