BMC SoftwareÆs Distribution Server provides a solution for customers
centrally manage the deployment of BMC Software distributed systems
products to remote computers in their environment. The Distribution
Server helps customers control their product distribution,
installation, and un-installation processes while reducing the
costs associated with upgrades.

- Schedules distribution of software at specific times and

including distribution history, installation success or

SPECIAL NOTE:
This program works on a number of platforms. WinNT/2k/2003 Server
AND linux servers with apache installed.
You cannot install and run the Distribution Server on Windows 2003
unless IIS is configured in the following way: All Unknown ISAPI
Extensions must be set to Allowed. Other extensions may remain
Prohibited without affecting the Distribution Server.
Also note that you cannot install both the RTServer component
and the main components on Win2003 - those have to be installed
on seperate machines.
