Hide Folder 2.7 is a secure and reliable program for protecting user's
important files, folders and discs. It prevents unauthorized access to
private information and important programs. The software makes the
protected folders completely invisible, inaccessible or accessible in
the read-only mode. Protected folders and their contents are protected from
being renamed, modified, deleted, copied, moved, accessed or even seen on
the system. Hide Folder 2.7 has as an option the specification of some
selected programs which will be still allowed to access the protected
areas (such as virus scanners, disk drive utilities, etc).
- You can hide files, folders and disks with Hide Folder.
- You can set the access rights (Read, Write, Visibility, Delete) for all files, folders and disks. For example, you can set Read Only mode to your files or even forbid deleting your files.
- No one but you have the right to access the blocked files, folders and disks.
- Password protection of files, folders and disks.
- Hide Folder does not change the data file structure, does not move the protected data, does not Windows system files. Your files will never get lost.
- Support for multiple objects for security.
- The start up of Hide Folder is password protected.
- Opening of Hide Folder and shifting the security mode with hot keys from other Windows applications. Even if Hide Folder is not running the hot keys continue their work.
- Trusted processes - is the opportunity to set processes with unlimited rights.
- Stealth Mode - means the program will be masked from the folks.
