First off, it is a nuked release.
The DVT file patcher does not function on Win 98 or Win ME, even though
the game supports these Operating Systems. Win ME is newer than
Win 2000, so saying it is ok to support only Win 2000 & Win XP is
bullshit. Win ME is newer...
Next, observe the title bar of the game on DVT's release:
"PacRush Beta V4.80"
Regardless of the changed version numbering system by the developer, this
release is newer.
Our release supports Windowed Video Mode for gameplay, while the previous
one only supports FullScreen. That is just one of many changes in the
new version. So, to summarize:
1. Our release is not a dupe
2. Previous release included a bad crack (actually: bad a file patcher)
3. Previous release could not be used on all OS supported by the game
(ie: Win 98/98SE/2000/ME/XP)
4. Previous release reports Beta in the version
5. The developer's main Publisher, called Alawar Entertainment, is
currently offering v1.42 with a 2006 Copyright and 2006 dated files.
6. Our release is even newer with a 1.46 version, so it is not "OLD"
7. And finally, it is so lame of us to do the research to explain
oddities in the versioning info, while other groups who you love and
worship continue to push out tons of dupes and extremely old shit that

While he may not be round, yellow or running from little ghosts, this nice guy
is out to get golden dots just like the classic arcade game. Pick up pieces of
fruit for bonuses, and avoid all sorts of obstacles as you make your way
