data is mission critical to success. DMS is a bridge between the design
chain and extended enterprise for optimal design and resource management.
Mentor Graphics provides an information centric approach to data
management. Information is available at the engineering desktop, anywhere,
at anytime. Components can be searched and selected by all kinds of
technical and business criteria. BOM and variants are extracted and shared
in a design community and with the enterprise, additionally designs can
even be updated from within the BOM. A key value is the search of Where
Used capability on any kind of component element.

1) unpack,run "setup.exe" to install
2) as Release, select:
- Integrated Systems Design: 2004 Service Pack 4
do NOT select Acrobat Reader, its ripped
3) during setup, select:
- License Server
- DMS2004 SPac4
- Server Setup for Client Installs
when asked for a CD during setup, just hit "OK",
setup will continue just fine
4) after install, generate a valid flexlm license
using "keygen.exe"
