Start the Texter creation interface just as you would any other
program. Simply select "Ozzino Texter" and then "Texter Deluxe" from
your Windows "Start|Programs" menu (if Texter does not start see
here). Once the Texter graphical interface appears simply select the
appropriate function from the relevant control panel, and type your
text onto the Input Screen. (You can alter character position by
pressing keyboard "Shift" + arrow keys.) After completing your input,
select "Start" from the Screen Control Panel and you will see your
applet in action.
To save your completed applet, select "Save" under the "File"
menuBar, and a HTML encoded file is produced which can be subsequently
uploaded to your web site (further details).
Most of the functions in Ozzino Texter can be used
simultaneously, leading to many permutations of allowed special
effects. Texter will automatically disable functions which are
incompatible with functions already selected. When a function is
selected by clicking on a button with the mouse, the text within the
button is altered to a bold-italic red. This will remind you which
functions are currently active. Any text you enter to the Input Screen
while any of the buttons are activated will be endowed with the
behaviour of the activated functions. To de-activate a function simply
click on the activated button (for most cases). If some function
remains disabled, even though no other buttons are active it means
that it is incompatible with some other function that has previously
been added to the application.
