Unpack
Future Boy! for Pocket PC/Windows Mobile devices
is installed in two
steps:
1. Run the file "Setup.exe" on your desktop PC.
This will install the
appropriate version of the Hugo Engine needed by
the game to your device.
(Non-Windows users can install the appropriate
.CAB file for their
device.) PocketHugo is installed by default in
"Programs File\Games".
2. Copy the gamefile "future.hex" from this
folder's "game" subfolder to
your device's documents folder. (If also
installing the optional
graphics in step 3, it may be a good idea to
create an "FB" subfolder for
the gamefile and graphics.)
3. (Optional) If installing the optional
pocket-sized graphics
resources for the game, copy the files in the
"game" folder's "graphics"
subfolder to the same directory on your device
where you copied the
"future.hex" gamefile. You may also need to turn
on graphics support
in PocketHugo under Options > Media.
The game can be launched for the first time by
starting the PocketHugo
application, tapping "Browse...", and selecting
"future.hex" from the
list.
