The Registration Key we provide is a real 'valid' key. However, it has not
yet been sold by the developer, and thus the Master Server check on the key
will fail because they know no person has purchased this key yet. So, we
had to crack the main executable to beat down the Master Server key check.
A keygen is possible, but will also require a server patch (keygen+patch).
Since the app is written in Visual Basic and the Key Generation routines are
done with Basic Language calls, we will not make a keygen.
Trying to understand the VB stuff is no fun for TNT. We hate VB.

■ Installation ■
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. UnZIP all archives to a temporary directory.
2. UnRAR all archives to a temporary directory.
Always unRAR with full paths!
3. Install the program by executing:
SETUP.EXE from the SETUP\ directory.
4. Be sure to close all instances of the Program "CounterSpy.exe".
5. Copy the contents of the CRACK\ directory to your Installed directory,
overwriting any existing files.
6. Run the program. Register the application:
File -> Register -> "I have already purchased a new license for
CounterSpy" -> Enter the Registration Key shown below.

(haha, you dumb mofo thieves. You too LMi/CSS/KiNETiC/DEVOTED/etc/etc...)
7. Be sure to close all instances of the Program "CounterSpy.exe".
8. Copy the contents of the PATCHER\ directory to the following directory,
overwriting any existing files:
"Local Settings\Application Data\Sunbelt Software\CounterSpy"
a) Windows 9x kernel (98/ME):
"Local Settings" is usually in "C:\WINDOWS\"
b) Windows NT kernel (NT/2K/XP):
"Local Settings" is usually in "C:\Documents and Settings\\"
If you have trouble, then, search your drives for the following to find the
correct location for extraction:
SunUserData.sdb
9. Run our patcher within your
"Local Settings\Application Data\Sunbelt Software\CounterSpy" directory:
CS_CRACK.EXE
It will do its job for a few seconds, and then auto-close itself.
10. What the hell did all of this do?
a) Register the Application to enable all Registered-User features.
b) Disable the Master Server check of your Registration Key.
c) Give you a subscription to download new SpyWare Definition files for
more than 200 years into the future.
11. We suggest that you Disable Auto-Updates. go to:
View -> Settings -> Update Service -> (Uncheck) Enable automatic
updates
If you leave that enabled, then eventually the software will download a new
version of itself, which will probably blacklist your Key and mess up the
Crack. When you manually update through either "File -> Check for updates"
or the "Updates" button, it will only download new SpyWare Definitions but
not any new versions of the executable files.
So that should work good for you until you decide to buy the program.
The license to download new SpyWare Definitions will expires on 09/21/2242.
If you are still alive in the year 2242, after all of the nuclear wars,
then you will need to download a new cracked version or buy the program.
We think over 200 years is more than enough time to evaluate the program.
