Create Widgets with a maximum of ease with the combination of two
great Apps, WCode is a cocoa application that semi-automates the
creation of Widgets. This package contains the beta version of
WCode and Widget Creator incorporated into is core. Also included
is a free stand-alone version of Widget Creator
WCode is a cocoa application that semi-automates the creation of
widgets. It also allows you to easily modify existing widgets. It
has many great features to make your life simpler when developing
widgets.
It allows you to:
- Access widget core files with just one click, giving you the
opportunity to edit and adapt every file at your convenience
without needing to open an html editor or a javascript editor.
- Replace existing images with one(s) you created by simply dragging
and dropping on the WCode window
- Edit and easily change the fields in "info.plist" and "version.plist"
files
- Preview changes you've made at any moment by clicking on the "preview"
button which opens an interactive Safari page This beta version is an
evolution of previous WCodes.
- Widget Creator (freeware):
- A "virgin" Dashboard icon you can personalize in Photoshop
- Aqua effects templates, including the famous Apple reflection Aqua effect
- The backside image and the tips to recreate it
- A skeleton widget to help you get started. Simply add your script and
adapt your .css files (incorporated in WCode 1.0b)
- The AppleScript that flips your widget (incorporated in WCode 1.0b)
