Ad Muncher is a small, efficient and reliable patch for Netscape, Microsoft,
Opera, and other, browsers which removes annoying banners, buttons and popups.
Once installed, Ad Muncher will sit on your taskbar watching what your browser
downloads, and if it finds an ad, it removes it before your browser sees it, 
simple as that. Ad Muncher uses a combination of effective heuristic ad detection
techniques to provide you with the reliability you demand. Ad Muncher will 
very rarely interfere with non-advert material. Ad Muncher not only removes banners,
it also removes popup windows (affecting only known advertising popup windows and 
leaving others alone), embedded midi files (don't you hate it when a midi file 
starts playing while you're browsing?) and status-bar modifiers (foiling those 
annoying pages which attempt to hide the true destination of each link).
