Description

JAM XM is a highly dynamical arcade racing game that brings you into the
distant future to take part in the intergalactic racing tournament. Your goal
is not just to race, but to destroy rivals who threaten your superiority with
your car heavy weaponry, collect bonuses, and have fun on the journey. Between
championships you can go to a mechanics bay to upgrade your car and improve
your deadly arsenal.

■ Installation ■
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. UnZIP all archives to a temporary directory.
2. UnRAR all archives to a temporary directory.
Always unRAR with full paths!
3. Install the program by executing:
SETUP.EXE from the SETUP\ directory.
4. Copy the contents of the CRACK\ directory to your Installed directory,
overwriting any existing files.
5. Run the program. If enjoyment is experienced, then buy the program!
6. *** Special Note for Win 98/ME users ***
And yes there are some out there. This game supports those OS. However,
there was a problem that I saw. It may or may not affect you.
The game crashed when hitting Escape at the Main Menu or when clicking Quit
and then Yes at the Main Menu. Those are just 2 ways to close the game.
It crashed with an error in DDHELP (so it is probably DirectX or graphics
related).
Here is what you can do to avoid such crashes.
a. Hit Alt-F4 to close the game at the Main Menu. (never crashed for me)
b. Run the game in Windowed Mode and all methods to quit the game should
work. (never crashed for me)
Here is a hint. For Windowed video mode, edit the file "jamxm.ini" in
your game directory.
Add the following line after the "[Video]" line:
Fullscreen=0
Tada, the game now runs in a window. So enjoy and go buy it.
