Instructions:
1. Stop CF ALL Services
Go to "Control panel/Services"
Stop following services
"ColdFusion Application Server"
"ColdFusion Executive"
"ColdFusion RDS"
2. Run crack in "CFUSION\BIN" Directory (where tlock32.dll is located)
3. Now read some comments
I have Enterprise edition of CFS 4.0. But there are two .ini files in the "CFUSION\BIN" directory: "cf40p.ini" and "cf40e.ini". One file is for Professional edition and the other is for Enterprise edition.
It looks strange, but since I have no experience working with CFS I decide to "register" it both. :)
Part 1. Professional
There is "unlockcf.exe" file in "CFUSION\BIN" directory
If you run it you'll see unlocking dialog for CFS 4.0 Professional
Well... lets register it.
Press "Purchase" button
Enter your and your company names
Press OK
You'll see your unlock code
Now all you need is just type it in the "Unlock code" field
and press OK.
Registered.
Part 2. Enterprise
When "ColdFusion Application Server" service starts next time, you'll see just the same registration dialog for Enterprise edition.
Repeat registration procedure and voila!
Small tip: On my computer, reg. dialog for enterprise edition appeared only for second, then it disappeared. The only way I find to "catch" it is to set clock two months forward and Stop/Start "ColdFusion Application Server" service manually.
