What is WinVDR?
WinVDR(Windows Video Disk Recorder) is a unique software tool
that helps you create divx/wmv/avi/mpg/mp4 Files from your
Video Capture Card(BT878/848 etc.) and
Soundcard(Line-in,MIC,MIDI output,...). Also WinVDR includes
an advanced Mixer to help you monitor Audio Input Level!
What is the difference between WinVDR PRO,WinVDR AVI and
WinVDR WMV?
WinVDR AVI can only capture video in AVI File Format. WinVDR
WMV can only capture video in WMV File Format. WinVDR PRO can
produce divx/wmv/avi/mpg/mp4 File.
How does it work?
Simply setup the format you want to record to, and then click
the RECORD button! When you click STOP button you will get a
divx/wmv/avi/mpg/mp4 file in the right PLAYLIST window. You
can doubleclick the file just produced by the program to view
it!!
What can I do with it?
MAKE your own Video Clips! Capture TV programs to HD/CD for
preserving. One CD can hold-up to 180 minutes of video clips
with VHS Quality!
What are the system requirements?
You will need a Pentium 450 PC or higher, 64MB RAM or more.
The operating system should be Windows 95, Windows 98,
Windows ME, or Windows 2000(not recommended). Of course, you
must have a Soundcard and a video capture card.
Does WinVDR use a lot of hard disk space when making
divx/wmv/avi/mpg/mp4?
No! WinVDR is very small. It occupies very little hard disk
space! Unlike other recorder software, WinVDR makes
divx/wmv/avi/mpg/mp4 files directly. It does not generate a
temporary file.
