│ The purpose of WindowFX is to give Windows a little extra visual │
│ flair. It runs on Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows 2000. It takes │
│ advantage of new APIs in Windows 2000 that make it possible to have │
│ true alpha-blended shadows. This is a first on the PC as no program on │
│ any PC OS (that we know of anyway) has been able to do this. It can │
│ also put shadows underneath irregularly shaped windows as can be found │
│ by apps that have been skinned by the popular WindowBlinds GUI │
│ skinning program. │
