Xtreme Accuracy Shooting was designed for gunsmith company Speedco to be
educational as well as entertaining. The virtual contest is laid out like
an actual shooting accuracy competition, to give users a sense of the rules
and customs of the sport. Players choose from a selection of modifiable
rifles and ammunition, and compete on courses based on reallife shooting
ranges. In the development of Xtreme Accuracy Shooting, Speedco designers
consulted with awardwinning shooters such as Tony Boyer and Thomas "Speedy"
Gonzalez, who are featured in the game.
