WordZap (32-bit) is a challenging word game played against an opponent over the
Internet (or the computer), in which you try to spell more words from a given jumble
of letters.
The object of WordZap is to make seven unique words faster than your opponent. If
you both make the same word, the word is "Zapped" (i.e. removed from both your
lists).
WordZap features 3 vocabulary levels and 4 game types (EasyZap, WordZap,
LongZap, and HardZap).
The easiest way to play over the Internet is to use a Lobby, such as the IGames
lobby. You need to download the Igames Player and follow IGames' instructions.
Then you'll be ready to invite an IGames opponent to some serious "Zapping". You
can also play using an Intranet, or play direct over the Internet (you need to know
your opponent's IP address). WordZap also supports ICQ, which makes it easy to
connect to other players.
You can select to play in four languages, including English, French, German, and
Spanish.
In this updated version the computer now uses six-letter words.
