experience of applying performance simulation to engine
design projects.
Lotus Engine Simulation can be used to simulate the
performance of two stroke, four stroke, gasoline, diesel,
naturally aspirated, supercharged and turbocharged engines
using advanced numerical algorithms to model the gas
dynamics in the engine manifolds. Use of sensors and
actuators enable the virtual complex operating modes used
in modern engines to be simulated.
