The patcher provided is for MSN Messenger(R) v 6.0.0250 and will not patch any other version, to patch it successfully without any error first load the patcher and see on the main patcher dialog caption something like "Your version is x.x.xxxx" if the version number is compatible with this patcher, by default the buttons will be enabled, else you will get a flashing message saying "Version error, you must have v 6.0.0250 Beta, so when you get this one thats mean you dont have the required version, else if you get this message without flashing "Messenger found version is compatible for patch" thats mean you had already the right version then you can choose any of your desired patch style ...

Ima getting an error message saying "Exit your MSN,or Outlook Express or close Hotmail.com and try again"

As i said above you must check if in your system tray (at the right buttom of your screen there is no msn icon)if there is right click on it and select exit, and put the patcher with your main msn messenger executable (msnmsgr.exe) ...

i am getting several questions and emails about this subject, well iam human like you(Not robot hehe) after long time for about several months here iam again to give you latest i do for you, why i patch msn ? this is not your bussiness, MSN Messenger(R) is free software to instantly communicate online with friends, family, coworkers, or anyone you choose. till the time that Microsoft(R) is not adding this options, anyone is free to doing this(must have a little shitty brain)
at last let me say you patching,cracking,hacking is not nice thing and all in 1 way are the same ILLEGAL but it will not be a bad thing o test your experiences and make your brain more educated ...
