I know, you think that's a dumb name. How do you think I feel? I'm the
one who gets ridiculed for it! Oh well. This game involves a lot of wandering
around a maze, collecting candles. You can get hammers to smash the
pumpkins (big surprise). Unlike similar games, this one includes 2-player
simultaneous play, both cooperative and competitive. Another nice feature
are the powerups. You can trigger a blizzard to slow the pumpkins to a
crawl, make them all fall asleep, or just give yourself the power to walk
through walls, and more. You can play as either Bouapha, the hero from so
many SPISPOPD games, or his sister Bouaphetta, a new addition to the
SPISPOPD cast. Speaking of new additions, I guess technically the
pumpkins you face are new, because this time they actually have names.
Meet Smoove, Chuckles, Helga, and Pete. They are the pumpkins trying to
crush you.
Whenever I see screenshots of a game, it seems like there's always one
of the title screen, and I never could see what purpose that serves. Well, I
did it here. My excuse is that it has a nice arrangement of all the characters
in the game, so you can see them. The pumpkins are even conveniently
labeled.
