MicroStation GeoGraphics is a key engineering product and forms
the foundation for discipline specific applications. By configuring
MicroStation V8.1 for a particular use, it significantly increases
user productivity and offers an easy-to-use environment for geospatial
users. Independent software developers can take advantage of high-level
geospatial functionality to increase application performance and
reduce development time.

MicroStation GeoGraphics leverages the power of an open Oracle Spatial
database storage system. By allowing users to post, query and extract
spatial information into this open storage mechanism, geospatial data
can be utilized far beyond the users' desktop. Geometry stored in
Oracle Spatial is Open-GIS compliant and can be shared with other
Open-GIS compliant applications. Oracle 8i and 9i Spatial are supported
as well as Oracle 9i Locator. Oracle Locator is a feature of Oracle9i
Standard and Enterprise Editions that provides spatial object type storage,
indexing and operations to support a variety of location-based services (LBS)
and 3rd party GIS solutions. Oracle Spatial is an option for Oracle9i
Enterprise Edition that provides advanced spatial features to support
high-end GIS and LBS solutions - further information can be found on:

installation ----- >

1. run setup.exe and choose install type you like
2. if asked by OS to reboot, do so
3. copy included msv8.lic files into your \Bentley\Program\Licensing\ dir
   be sure to backup existing file first
4. copy inlcuded licnsmgr.dll file into your \Bentley\Program\ dir and
   overwrite existing one. be sure to backup existing file first
5. run and enjoy
