The prior release of this game is missing the Screensaver executable and its
accompanying Windows' Registry Settings. A large feature of the game is the
unlocking of 12 Screensavers to enjoy as your Window's screen saver. As it
stands, you can access this feature due to the problem.
The problem was most likely caused by a mistake of the game publisher. Like
most shareware style games, multiple publishers are selling the game. If you
obtained the game direct from Disney's web site, it would not have this problem.

■ Installation ■
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. UnZIP all archives to a temporary directory.
2. UnRAR SSAVER.RAR to your Windows' SYSTEM, overwriting any existing files.
Always unRAR with full paths!
a) Windows 9x kernel (98/ME):
Your "SYSTEM" directory is usually "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM"
b) Windows NT kernel (NT/2K/XP):
Your "SYSTEM" directory is usually "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32"
-or-
"C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32"
Of course you could install Windows to any directory you like, such as
C:\UglyPigz\ or whatever. So you may need to search for the directory.
Wherever it is, there will probably be other screensavers there as well.
Files such as: *.scr
If you run into problems, you can also try unRAR'ing to your Windows'
directory itself, such as:
C:\WINDOWS\
C:\WINNT\
3. UnRAR TNT-FIX.RAR to your game directory, overwriting any existing files.
Always unRAR with full paths!
4. Run TNT-REG.BAT and obey all of its instructions.
5. Try to access the Windows' screen saver for the game. It should be listed
as "Disney's Disoku Apprentice" in your Windows' Screen Saver configuration
box.
If you encounter an error such as the following, then there was a problem:
"Alert: Cannot initialize the screen saver! Please reinstall. "
If this issue occurs, you should still be able to manually fix your
Window's registry. Find the "Start in:" location of the game's Windows
shortcut. Copy and paste that string into the following String Key using
REGEDIT or any other registry editor:
"app_path"
It will be down within
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Disney\Disney Online\DisokuApprentice
But you must have a trailing Slash ' \ ' on the end of the string, such as:
M:\Games\Disney\Disoku Masta\
You will get an error if the final Slash character is missing.
This will set the correct directory path, so that the Screensaver executable
can find the Game Files that it needs to function properly.

0day Unlockers, Cheat Codes, & Trainers:
Seeing as how many users do NOT have 0day/ access older than 6 months, we
will continue releasing Unlockers/Cheat Codes/SaveGame Editors/Trainers
(which we will refer to by using the term '0day-dox') for updated versions of
0day-section game releases.
The oddity about this is that even if older 0day-dox still work perfectly on
the new game versions, we will still put out a new set of 0day-dox
specifically tagged for the new game version. The new 0day-dox will also be
tested to make sure they work properly for a new game version, even if they
are 100% the same files as a previous version's dox.
We use a "6-month Minor Update rule" so as not to flood the hell out of the
scene. This means that we will wait until 6 months (calendar time) from the
PRE date of the previous 0day-dox. By 'calendar time', an example is that 6
months after January 02 2005 will be July 02 2005. Six months, not 180 days,
to avoid archaic calculations. After that time, we will wait AGAIN for a new
version of the game. We will NOT use new game versions that came out during
the 6 month waiting period. When a brand new game version is PRE-released
after the 6 months of waiting, we will release new 0day-dox for it as needed.
Of course, MU rules do not affect Major Version updates, such as when a
program goes from v3.92 to v4.00. We always make new dox for Major Version
changes, regardless of the amount of time (even if 3.92 came out 1 day ago).
