    Supply NCO I ever knew dreads since it means stopping what you are 
    currently doing in order to manually type out a DD Form 362 Statement 
    of Charges for the soldier, Marine, sailor or airman to sign so you can
    issue a replacement item on the spot.  If I had a dollar for every one 
    of these I have ever had to type, or sometimes retype, on a typewriter 
    I would be a rich man indeed as the saying goes. As with so many of 
    your other daily job responsibilities you have no software tools 
    provided to help you automate this time consuming and sometimes very 
    tedious task.
    
    Well what if I could offer you an easy to use and very low priced 
    software tool for use on your computer that could generate and print 
    "by the book" and exact, and I do mean exact, DD Form 362's (Jul 93 
    edition)? Oh did I mention that this software tool also does all the 
    required depreciation math and totals as well as part of the process? 
    You might be tempted to say such a tool does not exists but you would 
    be wrong. Welcome to our VisMSOC software product!
    
    In addition to generating highly professional DD Form 362's you also 
    have the capability to generate and store as many premade DD Form 362's
    in the database as your on hand computer memory will allow which is 
    absolutely great for those times when for one reason or another you 
    find you have to retype the same DD Form 362 over again due to a 
    required adjustment. How many records might this be? A typical one page
    DD Form 362 with all 12 rows used will take about 4K on computer 
    memory. That means 1MB of memory will allow you to create and store 250
    of them - probably more then you will ever conceivably need.
    
    Unlike other rather limited attempts to automate the DD Form 362 that 
    you may have seen up till now VisMSOC will automatically generate 
    additional pages per AR 735-5 dated Jun 2002 if the number of items on 
    the statement of charges exceed the 12 rows provided on the DD Form 
    362. Basically you just enter the required information on the soldier 
    and what he or she has lost and let VisMSOC do the rest for you. When 
    it comes to DD Form 362 preparation this software tool can make an 
    expert out of almost anyone!
