CrazyEights pits you against the computer in this classic
card game. The object of the game is to get rid of all your
cards before your opponent does. Any player left holding
cards when another player goes out is penalized points for
each card held. The game ends when a player's score
exceeds the game limit; the winner is the player with the
lowest score.
CrazyEights features:

Because CrazyEights is written in Java 2, it runs on any
platform for which a Java 2 environment is available,
including Windows, Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X. Be sure
to read the system requirements below before downloading.
Installation:
CrazyEights is distributed as a Stuffit (Macintosh) or Zip
(non-Macintosh) archive. When you unpack the archive,
be sure to preserve the folder hierarchy (for example, in
WinZip for Windows 98, make sure "use folder names" is
checked). When unpacked, the application installs the
following files into a folder called "CrazyEights":
CrazyEights.jar or CrazyEights
readme.html
license.html
upgrade.html
images/*
doc/*
The first file listed above is the game. It is called
"CrazyEights" on the Macintosh platform and
"CrazyEights.jar" on other platforms.
The readme.html, license.html, and upgrade.html files
contain important information about the game, including
system requirements, registration information and links, legal
information, and upgrading information.
The images directory contains a number of small image files
that are used by the application (and html) files. These
images must be contained in an "images" folder, and the
"images" folder must be in the same folder as the game file,
in order for the game to operate properly.
The doc directory contains html files used by the application
for displaying help information. These files must be
contained in a "doc" folder, and the "doc" folder must be in
the same folder as the game file, so that the game will be
able to find them when needed.
Double-click the application to start the game. As an
alternative on non-Macintosh platforms, you can start the
application from a terminal window by first cd-ing to the
CrazyEights directory and then executing:
'java -jar CrazyEights.jar'
Install the application, run the included keygen and get an
valid serial! You might want to start the keygen with your
favorite java enabled browser.
