Catia v5 Translators

The catia v5 translator requires a special license. It looks like a dll file is missing.

You need to set the following environment.

1. Environment: ALTAIR_CATIA_LICENSE_FILE = CatiaLicenseFile.txt

Altair HyperWorks 7.0

1. Install HyperWorks, copy all files to your x:\Altair\hw7.0\security.

2. Edit lnd.dat and replace  in first line with your hostname. 
   Replace 000000000000 with your Ethernet Address and then save it. 
   DO NOT modify anything else in this file.
   
3. Run keygen.bat to make your ALTAIR_LIC.DAT file.

4. Set the License environment:  LM_LICENSE_FILE = 2181@hostname.

5. Run lmtools.exe and manually setup Flexlm Services. Click on the configuration 
   service tab and set 'path to lmgrd.exe' with LMGRD.EXE and then set 'path 
   to the license file' with x:\Altair\hw7.0\security\altair_lic.dat. Now,
   select 'use services', then click  'save service' button. Click on the 
   start/stop/reread tab, and then the start server button.
