iPinger is a network utility designed to notify a pager, mobile
phone, or any other device that has an email address when a targeted
system goes down or offline.
iPinger allows you to specify the target computer as well as the ping
frequency (10 - 86400 seconds). As soon as a connection is lost to
the target computer the application goes into emergency ping mode and
will ping the target computer every 5 seconds until communication is
established. An email notification will be sent when a specified
number of time-outs are reached and another when the connection is
re-established.
