Spot is a Windows 32-bit software application which allows open
subtitles to be created, edited, spotted (i.e. synchronised to a
digital video file or timecoded VHS cassette) and saved in a number
of different subtitle formats or output to a DVD authoring system.
It is aimed at film, video and television translators or
translation companies looking for a powerful yet inexpensive means
of producing a broadcast-ready computer file containing all the
information needed to display subtitles on screen.
