With the ever expanding number of sites on the internet, managing
bookmarks has now become a complex challenge. An excellent solution
to the problem is AcqURL (Acquire URLs). This extremely powerful,
yet simple to use, interface makes managing a moderate to massive
amount of bookmarks very easy.
AcqURL uses a tabbed page metaphor to access groups of bookmarks,
with each page holding up to 80 bookmarks. The number of tabbed
pages is virtually unlimited, and pages can be added, removed or
edited at any time.
Bookmarks can be added to AcqURL simply by clicking the mouse on
any blank bookmark button.
Local applications, such as a word processor, can also be loaded
and launched from AcqURL. Drag and drop from the desktop or file
manager is supported as well. AcqURL also contains an integrated
FTP client with drag and drop functionality for bookmarking FTP
sites. You can even bookmark email addresses and newsgroups in
AcqURL.
Anything you can think of to do with a bookmark can be done within
AcqURL. Bookmarks can be sorted, searched, printed, emailed, color
coded, edited, protected, verified, imported, exported and
distributed on disk. You can even create an internet links page of
HTML code from the bookmarks with just a couple of mouse clicks.
Searching the internet has now become much easier as well. AcqURL
allows you to use multiple search engines on the internet with a
single click. A list of over 70 search engines are included, and
new ones can be added at any time.
Make your time online more productive and enjoyable by using the
