    Introduction to the HomeGauge Inspection Program.
    
    Welcome to the HomeGauge Inspection program. We have designed this
    program to make home inspections quicker, more thorough, more
    consistent, and more economical for you.
    
    Minimal Typing:
    
    Designed for use with a laptop computer or pen PC, a minimal amount
    of typing is required. As you walk through the house following the
    built-in question list, you can simply click to drop in common
    comments.
    
    Digital Camera:
    
    We have included the ability to insert pictures directly from a
    digital camera that will both impress your customers and make it
    easier for them to locate problem areas.
    
    Customizable Report:
    
    The report generated by HomeGauge is customizable, so you can add or
    modify questions and comments, and add new sections to suit your own
    personal preferences.
    
    Printing:
    
    The report can be printed on site and presented to the customer as
    soon as you finish the inspection. In addition, the HomeGauge
    software report is generated in HTML language. We chose HTML over
    the typical word-processing software used for most other inspection 
    programs. The reason we did this is so your report will be readable
    on the Internet. When using a word-processor format your buyer would
    need a copy of the program to read it over the web. This means they
    would have to purchase or download a program in order to read the
    report.
    
    Spell Check:
    
    HomeGauge contains prewritten Auto Comments but sometimes you will
    still need to write your own comments for unusual situations.  For
    these cases, a spell checker is built in that allows you to find and
    change any misspelled words. It also allows you to add new words to
    your vocabulary list.
